Cell Phone in Hand

I haven’t talked to dad.

Mom never liked me.

My little brother is still in prison.

He still hasn’t written to me.

I haven’t seen him for three years now.

Things will never be the same.

But the memories still remain.

My baby sister

I miss her smile.

She was always like one of my own.

Now my own are someplace else.

And I’m here alone.
