Common Threads Quilt Show

The Common Threads Quilt Show was held at Century II in downtown Wichita and was open to the public. There were quilters from all different levels showing off their work, and there was A LOT to see!

Quilts were entered in different categories, including some beautiful quilts made by beginners and young quilters. People attending the show could walk around, look at all the quilts, and vote for their favorites. (That was hard for me to narrow my favorites down to three!)

There was also an auction filled with quilted items. If you love handmade things, this was definitely a place where you could find something special.

One of my favorite parts of the show was seeing Quilts of Valor presented to veterans. These quilts are made to honor veterans, and watching them receive their quilts added a very special part to the show.

Of course, I was there with my camera! I wanted to capture the quilts, the details, the people, and some of the things that made this show so much fun to walk through.

So, rather than tell you about every quilt I saw, I’ll let my photos do the talking.

Here’s what I saw!
